 This long distance HDMI balun converter allows a 1080p HDMI source to be extended up to 50m away using economical Cat 5e or 6 UTP cabling - without sacrificing signal quality! Infra-red control signals can also be relayed both ways, allowing you to control your equipment remotely. Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) can be read and saved from the display. Ideal for situations where HDMI source devices are located greater than 15m away from the screen. HDMI loop output on transmitter for local viewing.
