30SFM Surge Protection Mechanism, 10A, Opal
The surge filter has voltage dependant resistors connected between Active and Neutral; Active and Earth; and Neutral and Earth. It protects against all permutations of over voltage. Clipsal 30SFM protects equipment from damage due to transient spikes or surges. The unit is not intended to absorb over voltages caused by lightning strikes. The unit is provided with a neon light to indicate operation. If the neon is not glowing, the surge filter is no longer operational and must be replaced to maintain over voltage protection
